7 FOODS FOR GLOWING SKIN

Radiant, youthful skin is something most women strive for. I know when my skin is glowing it means my insides are humming! Having glowing skin isn’t just about the products we use. When it comes to a glowing complexion the good old saying "you are what you eat"  has never been more true. Below are the top foods i like to incorporate for radiant skin!

 

TURMERIC – Highly anti-inflammatory and free radical fighting. This absolutely amazing indian spice has been shown to do wonders for the skin! Move over green smoothie, Turmeric latte for the win, and rightly so!

CARROTS – Rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, an antioxidant that helps promote cellular renewal in the skin and also reduces the development of skin cancer cells. Yes please!

SALMON – High in omega 3’s salmon is one of the most powerful anti inflammatory foods. It also contains DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) which helps strengthen cell membranes against premature deterioration leading to premature aeging!

PAPAYA – High in Vitamin C this beautiful fruit contains a vast range of active enzymes which have many health benefits to get your skin glowing! Your body needs vitamin C to make collagen, which is the main structural component of skin and the source of its elasticity and firmness.

MATCHA TEA –  Matcha tea is amazing at clearing skin thanks to its incredibley high levels of antioxidants. Matcha has 137 times the antioxidants and up to 10 times the nutritional content of regular green tea. One teaspoon a day will definetly keep the skin at bay!
